Roaming River
Roaming River is a participatory, multi-sensory film made for SEN schools. Roaming River offers viewers the chance to escape the everyday and explore their imaginations by following young adventurer River, on his journey through nature.
Roaming River is designed to to be used as part of a creative, multi-sensory workshop focusing on using simple materials that are readily available to SEN Schools.
Participants are invited into River’s world, as he takes us on a tour of both the woods that he plays in and his wild imagination.
Roaming River was commissioned by Sunderland Culture and developed in partnership with Columbia Grange School.
Alongside the development of the film, Woven Nest Theatre also created a downloadable activity e-pack. The activity pack provides guidance on how to deliver Roaming River at home or in the classroom.
